Junior Section
The Academy at Burghley Park Golf Club offers Juniors (up to the age of 18) the perfect introduction to golf. It’s a fun, enjoyable way to learn about the sport and enjoy part of your school holidays. We’ll also loan golf clubs and other equipment as required.
Our PGA Professional runs the junior section at the Golf Club and leads our Academy for the under 18s.Our Academy offers superb value for money & an Academy Season Ticket runs from April 1st to the end of March each year.
The Academy Season Ticket Membership: Juniors: £50.00 per person
Clinics are offered at several times and days each week : including afternoon, early evening & weekend sessions. (sessions cost £48 per term for lesson)
Our Professional staff will offer an individual teaching package, bespoke & suitable for each player’s standard.
Every aspect of the game is covered: tee shots, chipping, bunker play, putting.
We’ll also provide you with a guide to golf rules and etiquette
As a member of the Academy, you’ll also enjoy:
- Exclusive access to Burghley Park’s 3-hole, par three Academy Course
- Unlimited use of the Practice Ground, including driving range, bunkers, chipping and putting
- Use of Club locker rooms
- Use of the Clubhouse, for refreshments (with an adult)
- Social membership for one Parent/Guardian
- Graduation into full Junior membership of the Club with open access to the Course, handicap, matches and competition, and best of all good friendships and real enjoyment.

Safeguarding and Child Protection - As you would expect from a well run Club all the staff and professional staff who work with Juniors in the Club and the Academy have been safeguarded and DBS cleared by either their own professional body or by England Golf. Parents/ Guardians will be asked, either as their children joins our Academy or renews their season ticket every year, to authorise their child's attendance at the Club. Equally, Parents/Guardians are asked to handover their children to our care, via the Pro Shop on each occasion that they visit.
