A Welcome to Burghley Park Golf Club from Club Chairman Chris Lees.

Situated in the grounds of Burghley Estate, a Capability Brown landscape, Burghley Park Golf Club came into being in 1890 and is in fact the oldest club in Lincolnshire. It has since developed into one of the most pleasing and enjoyable courses in the country. A par 70 for men and 73 for ladies, it offers many challenges but is a very fair test for the full range of handicap abilities. These native grassland links with their unique links and parkland feel are a pleasure to play or even simply walk around. Similarly, we are committed to re-investing all of our profits back into the course to ensure it is always improving.
Paul Mills, Course Manager, together with his team of greenkeepers, maintain the course to a very high standard, which together with the excellent natural drainage ensures the course remains in good condition all the year round.
If golf is only part of your pleasure then Stamford, one of the top ten towns as voted by the Sunday Times a few years ago, is a thrill to visit, especially Burghley House, one of the most prestigious country houses in England, surrounded as it is by parkland famous for the Burghley Horse Trials.
Similarly, if you are coming to the Club for a social function or business event or just a coffee and sandwich, we are sure you will enjoy our Clubhouse, hospitality and good service in every respect. Our hospitality team will work hard to ensure this is the case.
We hope you enjoy your time at Burghley Park Golf Club, and if you are a visitor, we hope that you come again or even consider becoming a member.
The General Manager, David Ford, (firstname.lastname@example.org) together with the rest of his team, are always delighted to provide you with further information or help you enjoy your membership or visit to the Club and can be contacted on 01780 753789, or by email.
