We have a popular Junior section for boys and girls under the age of 18.
From a golf perspective, we offer junior golfers a range of specific competitions and matches. In addition, in the main playing season, we run a junior development hour every Monday at 5.15pm. Junior members have free and full access to the course, just like adult members at any time for social golf.
Our Professional team are focussed on ensuring our Club's juniors are well taught in all of the fundamentals and basics of the game. They fully recognise that golf's rules and etiquette are good life skills and that most boys and girls want to be as good as their talent allows. We have junior members who are already playing for the Club's scratch teams and have qualified for county, regional and national junior competitions. If the boys and girls want to develop and have the determination to really excel we have both the Practice facilities, the teaching staff and the course to respond.
Safeguarding and Child Protection are fully recognised by the Club as an Underpinning element in the running of any junior sport or other activity.
